How to merge duplicate fields?

For existing customers of our Yara Analytical Services, we have set up a Megalab account with all historical data from previous orders and analyses conducted.

 

Due to the collection of all historical data prior to digitisation, there may be duplicate fields that need to be merged by you.

 

Learn how to merge duplicate fields by watching this video or following the steps below:

 

 

  1. Log in to your Megalab account.
  2. Megalab opens. Click on MY CUSTOMERS in the left navigation bar.Mycustomers.png
  3. The customers page with the customers list opens. In the FIELDS column you can see how many fields already exist for each customer.
  4. Click on the customer for which you want to merge fields.Selectcustomer.png
  5. The customer's page with the fields list opens. Click on the MODIFY FIELDS button and select MERGE FIELDS.Mergefields1.png
  6. Scroll further down the page to get to the list of fields. Next to the listed fields you can see checkboxes. Select the fields to be merged by ticking the corresponding box. To cancel the merging of fields, click on the set ticks to remove them.Mergefields2.png
  7. Select a field to act as the master (field with which the other fields will be merged and will represent all data) by clicking the star symbol next to the field's name.Mergefields3.png
  8. Click on the CONFIRM MERGE FIELDS button to merge the fields. Select CANCEL FIELD MERGE to stop the merging process.
  9. The selected fields will be merged into the master field and the list of fields will be updated.

Merging fields is a reversible function. If any errors occurred during the process, please contact our support team and we will fix this for you.
